Community Impact Committee Meeting

This will be the first quarterly in-person meeting for the Community Impact Committee. We will meet at the ArtsNow conference room on the first floor of the Ohio Building, 175 S. Main Street, Akron, OH 44308. Street parking is available as well as parking within the Summit County parking deck ($6.00). Service Event: St. Bernard’s Hunger Program

St. Bernard Catholic Church 44 University Ave., Akron, OH

Volunteer with us at St. Bernard's Church in downtown Akron for their hot meals program, which serves more than 1,000 hot meals each month to those in need. We will be preparing and serving a sit-down meal in St. Bernard's dining hall, and cleaning up afterwards. This is a TB5 Service Event, awarding volunteers with 5 service points per every hour volunteered.

The Events Committee is bringing it back as a yearly social events staple! Join your fellow Torchbearer’s to learn more about… well, anything and everything! In our virtual party, those that elect to present will be given the virtual floor for up to 5 minutes to present on their topic or talent of choice. If you would like to present, please RSVP as a Presenter by Thursday, February 12th!! There are only 10 slots available! First come, first serve. If you’d like to join the fun without presenting, please RSVP as a Spectator. We look forward to seeing everyone on Zoom and can’t wait to learn more about our fellow TB members!
