The Akron Parks Collaborative needs volunteers to assist with spring clean-up (pruning flowers/bushes and picking up trash) and mulching at its Kerr Park location (964 Nome Ave). Volunteers are encouraged to wear comfortable, close-toed shoes and gardening clothes. Gloves will be provided. The Akron Parks Collaborative is looking for at least 7-12 volunteers for this clean-up.

About the session: Emotional Intelligence & Aptitude: Assess and discover the power of being able to lead through your own emotional aptitude as well as leading others in areas of self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, and relating with others.
Location: Akron Children's Hospital, 1 Perkins Square in downtown Akron. We will be meeting in the Considine Professional Building - 2nd floor, room #2171 (faces the baseball field). Please refer to photo of map.
Parking info: Guests should park in the Bowery Street Parking Deck, which is attached to the Considine Building. We are checking if parking vouchers will be needed. Please enter the front door.
Lastly, we are arranging additional time for a tour and time to learn more about Akron Children's Hospital. This would most likely be after our session. Stay tuned!
The Longest Table Akron is a family-friendly, free community potluck hosted by Civic Saturday Akron. The goal of the event is to bring Akronites together for food and conversation, celebrating community and shared civic purpose. Volunteers are needed to help set-up the tables and check-in guests. You are welcome to stay for the meal after the TB5 Service event is over!
