L&D Training: Leading Change

We’re looking forward to seeing all first-year TBs at this month’s L&D session! The theme for this meeting is Leading Change in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.

Our guest panelists for this training are:

• Cristina Gonzalez Alcala, Community Investment Officer at Akron Community Foundation | Founder & CEO at Not Yo’Daddy’s Mexican Hot Sauce
• Teresa LeGrair, President & CEO, Akron Urban League
• Roderick Pounds, Pastor, Second Baptist Church

Objectives:

• Understand basic principles of change
• Discuss how to positively influence in times of change
• Explore how to be flexible in the context of change

Think about a change initiative about which you are passionate and in which you have invested resources: time, money, volunteer work, etc. and if you have a shirt, hat, mug or something else that represents that org bring it to the virtual session with you because you will be encouraged to share with others.
