• Refine your leadership vision, mission, and draft goals and bring them with you to the session. Remember:
• Your vision statement answers the question of “What do I want to accomplish as a leader?” Note: If you are having trouble identifying your leadership vision, consider answering one or more of the following, instead:
  • What kind of impact do I want to have in my community?
  • What do I need to explore or answer to determine what kind of leader I want to be?
  • What impact do I want to have on others around me?
• Your mission statement answers the question of “How am I going to make that happen?”
• Your goals answer the question of “What are the specific actions I am going to take to fulfill my mission and vision?
