Come out to the Old Mason Site on the corner of Beaver St & Corley St and help us revitalize a green space on the school’s property. Activities during this event will include gardening and gardening-adjacent activities such as clearing brush, setting mulch, carrying and planting flowers and other plants. This event will also serve to benefit a significant portion of this year’s Connect2Akron project in the Middlebury neighborhood.
This event serves as a make up day for the previous TB Connect2Akron: Habitat for Humanity Old Mason Beautification Day (Service Event) on 9/15/2024. This will help finalize the seasonal work that Torchbearers, Habitat for Humanity, and The Well CDC has been performing to transform the old Mason CLC lot—once a dumping ground—into a beautiful parklet for the neighborhood.
Bring a fellow TB (active or alumni), as well as your family and friends to help out!
This is a TB5 Service Event, awarding volunteers with 5 service points per every hour volunteered.
