Service Event: St. Bernard Hunger Program

Torchbearers has been so fortunate to be partnered with St. Bernard for so long. Past TBs invite all TBs to partake in this fun service event giving back locally with direct service! St Bernard’s Hunger program includes a food pantry, hot meals, and bag lunch program. For the Hot Meals, volunteers arrive at 4:00 PM in the Social Hall kitchen and meals are served at 5:30 PM. At least 5 volunteers are needed for this service event.

St. Bernard Hot Meals Program serves more than 1,000 meals each month! This event supports low and moderate income individuals who may be homeless in Akron. If you have a Torchbearers T-Shirt, this is a wonderful opportunity to wear it.

This is a TB5 service event, worth 5 service points. Dress code: casual.
