Torchbearers are being asked to volunteer for this fundraiser benefiting the Arthritis Foundation. Volunteers are needed for 2 to 4 hours shifts between 4 and 9 PM. The service event liaison should coordinate with Lauren Rader prior to volunteering at the event so each volunteer that RSVPs is assigned a volunteer spot, preferably with a fellow TB member.
There are a variety of duties available to our members to help out with, including:
Set- Up Volunteers (before 4:00 PM)
Volunteer Check-In (4:30 – 6:15 PM)
Greeters (4:30 – 6:30 PM)
Registration/Will Call (4:00 – 7:00 PM)
VIP Lounge Hosts (Staggered shifts between 5:00 and 9:30 PM)
Restaurant/Wine Station Liaisons (staggered shifts between 4:30 and 9:00 PM)
Silent Auction Table Managers (staggered shifts between 5:00 and 9:30 PM)
Live Auction Liaisons (6:45 – 7:45 PM)
Dino Around Akron Raffle Coordinators (staggered shifts between 5:00 and 9:30 PM)
Wine Bottle Raffle Coordinators (staggered shifts between 5:30 and 9:30 PM)
Tear down and Clear Up Volunteers (arrive early to enjoy the food, wine, and auction, shift is 8:30 – 11:00 PM)
