Service Event: International Day of Peace Fundraiser

For this Fundraiser benefitting the North Hill CDC, volunteers are needed to assist with a variety of tasks, including set up, break down, logistics for the day including helping organize/setup a puppet show, organizing the helpers, and greeting guests. Additionally, Torchbearers will have a table set up to collect public input with a survey for the Waters Park Amphitheater Shelter Design for the Torchbearers Class of 2022 Capstone project in North Hill.

Volunteers will receive a free shirt if you complete THIS FORM.

The following volunteer services are needed:

• 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM – Setup Peoples Park (4 volunteers)
• 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM – Setup Bricks (4 volunteers)
• 12:30 PM – 3:00 PM –  Table Captains (8 volunteers)
• 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM – Bricklayers (4 volunteers)
• 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM – Construction Workers (2 volunteers)
• 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM – Food Servers (2 volunteers)
• 3:30 PM – 5:00 PM – Public Surveyors (3 volunteers)

This is a TB5 Service Event, worth 5 service points.

About the International Day of Peace:

Established in 1981 by a unanimous United Nations resolution, the International Day of Peace is observed around the world each year on September 21st and is a globally shared date for all humanity to commit to Peace above all differences and to contribute to building a Culture of Peace.
