Service Event: DECA District XI Competition

This event is a great opportunity for Torchbearers to interact with high school students that are focused on various career paths. DECA District XI Competition is the qualifier for a State Conference. Refreshments are provided to the judges as well as detailed packets that explain your role. This event supports the DECA program, students in high school that are working hard to achieve their career goals.

The event will be held at The University of Akron in the Taylor Institute of Direct Marketing. This is on the 5th floor of the Polsky Building. You would need to arrive by 8:15 am to register. Departure time varies from event to event. Typically you will be able to leave by 12 pm.

This is a TB5 event, worth 5 service points. Dress code: business professional or business casual.
