Service Event: Akron Children’s Museum’s Grown-Up Play Date Fundraiser: Ballers & Ballgowns!

The Akron Children’s Museum (ACM) is thrilled to announce its 8th Annual Grown Up Play Date: Ballers & Ballgowns, taking place on Saturday, March 1, 2025. This unforgettable night invites nearly 300 guests to enjoy the nostalgia of representing their favorite sports teams in an upscale setting, promising an evening full of fun and excitement. Guests can look forward to an engaging night filled with live music by Twin B Project, silent disco and casino games. A premier auction will provide supporters an opportunity to bid on exclusive items, while delicious food by Blue Heron Events & Catering ensures a delightful dining experience.

The Grown Up Play Date is a highly anticipated yearly favorite of ACM’s expanding community of supporters, and a pivotal element in the nonprofit organization’s financial progress.

In addition to RSVPing through the TB page below, you must CLICK HERE to sign up through ACM’s volunteer portal. There are a variety of shifts to choose from (raffle, auction, bartender, buffet, check in, dining room, and more); PLEASE SELECT ONE OPTION IN THE 5:00-8:30 TIME SLOT. Volunteers may, but are not required to, sign up for additional 8:15-11:45 or 10:45-12:00 shift(s) should they wish to stay!
