Are you passionate about art, performance, and community? Do you want to immerse yourself in the enchanting world of early cinema magic while making a meaningful contribution? Join us as a volunteer at Akron Soul Train’s “A Trip to the Moon” Soirée & Art Event on Saturday, October 12th, from 5:30 PM to 10:30 PM!
Why Volunteer?
– Free Admission: Assist us for at least 3 hours and enjoy the rest of the event for free!

Check-in – 4:30 PM – 7:30 PM [2 volunteers] greet and check-in guests with one staff member
Check-in 7:30 PM – 10:30 PM [2 volunteers] greet and check-in guests with one staff member
Drink Ticket Sales table [2 volunteers] 1 square reader

Coat Check
5 – 8:00 pm 2 volunteers

8:45 PM silent auction closes – Pita and Nova to assist with checkout
Meryl to assist with packing up items and marking the winner
4 additional volunteers to run items to check out for pick up 8:30 PM – 10:30 PM
Usher and Bathroom attendant: [2 individuals] Check bathrooms and remove trash, help direct people, talk up silent auction ending.
