I’m particularly interested in supporting a sustainable food culture in Northeast Ohio by helping residents learn how to take advantage of our local food resources, increasing personal and economic opportunity in the region. I donate time and resources to Countryside Conservancy as part of creating a healthy food culture in Greater Akron.
I’m also interested in supporting at-risk women and girls in our community, helping them build better lives for themselves, their families and their community, through programs like Access.
Additionally, as someone living with Rheumatoid Arthritis and with family members who suffer from RA, I support the Arthritis Foundation, which works to prevent, treat and cure the disease.
Finally, I mentor college students from my alma mater, Smith College, who come to Northeast Ohio for summer internship programs designed to attract them to the region, through an organization called Summer on the Cuyahoga.
