Restorative Circle: Pathways to Change

Torchbearers is honored to host a Restorative Circle facilitated by Dr. Willie Cook (TB 2015) and Reyna Perez, LPC (TB 2023). For this gathering, we have invited the Akron Urban League Young Professionals to join us as our guests.
A restorative circle is a structured, intentional conversation where participants come together to share perspectives, listen deeply, and build mutual understanding. Rooted in restorative practices, circles encourage reflection, empathy, and authentic dialogue that can strengthen relationships and foster collaboration across communities.
By creating space for these conversations, Torchbearers seeks to not only deepen connections but also to foster change-making and empower community leadership — equipping emerging leaders with the tools to create lasting impact in Akron.
