*This is a TB 3 event, worth 3 points*

Ever wonder what happens to all that waste water you flush everyday? Come learn about the company turning your poop into power for Akron’s electric grid and valuable compost for flowers!

KB BioEnergy processes all of the City of Akron’s wastewater and converts it into renewable energy through compost and electricity returned back into Akron’s grid. KB BioEnergy is a family-owned and operated business that has provided waste-to-resource solutions to wastewater treatment plants for over 30 years. What started as the region’s largest residual compost facility has turned into one of the leading waste-to-energy facilities in the United States.
