Service Event: Dance Through the Decades

We will assist the NCCAkron with its Dance Through the Decades events by helping out at registration/check-in, manning the photo booth, and passing out gift bags.

NCCAkron (National Center for Choreography – Akron) is a national hub in Akron, Ohio, dedicated to research and development in dance, supporting choreographers with residencies, resources, and platforms for experimentation, dialogue, and building the future of the art form, distinct from producing shows. It’s one of only two such centers in the U.S., fostering innovation by bringing artists and thinkers together and offering unique learning opportunities for University of Akron students. NCCAkron is a distinct, separate 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that supports dance artists and works to dismantle systemic inequities in the arts, operating independently from the University of Akron campus where it’s located
