Torchbearers exists to enhance Greater Akron by investing in our emerging leaders and strengthening their connection to local non-profit organizations.
Torchbearers ignites the aspirations of members through leadership and development, community engagement, and service.
We are young leaders, between 25 and 39 years old, that are powerful, vibrant, and have a passion for impacting the Greater Akron community.
Our members are change-makers who believe in possibility and participate in creating a shared vision for evolving our community.
Torchbearers enables members to be a part of shaping Akron through leading initiatives and programs that have a concrete positive impact.

As Torchbearers, we recognize that our presence in the community is only as strong as our membership. We strive to recruit members dedicated to the Greater Akron community and to the core values of our organization.
Applications for the Class of 2024 will be open from May 1 to June 30, 2023.
